Delete your account

You can delete your Finaxio account and the data stored with it at any time — in the app, or by email if you no longer have the app.

Delete it in Finaxio

  1. Open Finaxio and go to the More tab.
  2. Tap your profile card at the top to open Profile.
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
  4. Tap Delete account again to confirm.

You need to be signed in, and online. Your account is deleted straight away, and the app clears your data from that phone.

Ask us by email

Send an email to support@finaxio.app from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my Finaxio account".

We delete the account within 7 days and reply to confirm. If the email comes from a different address, we will ask you to confirm you own the account before deleting anything.

What is deleted

Everything we store for your account, from our servers:
  • your account: email, name, phone number and password;
  • all your financial records: accounts, transactions, categories, budgets, goals, debts, repeating bills and transfers;
  • your receipt photos and profile photo;
  • your plan, AI usage counts and AI credit balance.

This happens immediately. Copies in our providers' routine backups are removed within 30 days.

What is not deleted

  • Subscriptions are not cancelled. Deleting your account does not stop Google Play from charging you. Cancel first in the Play Store: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Purchase records kept by Google Play and RevenueCat, which they hold under their own rules (for example, for tax and refunds).
  • Files you saved or shared yourself, such as backups and exported PDF or CSV reports.
  • Data on a phone where you used Finaxio without signing in. Uninstall the app to remove it.
Deleting your account cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy of your records, export a report or make a backup in the app first.

Only want to remove some data?

You don't have to delete your account to remove data:

  • Delete any entry, goal, debt, budget, bill or receipt photo in the app. The deletion syncs to your account.
  • Remove your profile photo in More → Profile.
  • Sign out to remove your data from one phone while keeping it in your account.
